Covid-19 Safety Measures

In line with Government guidelines, we are open as we are a large outdoor venue.  The following additional safety measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all our customers.  As always a full safety briefing will be given at the start of each session, but here are some of the changes you need to know about:

  • You will only be permitted to go around the course as a single Family or a group of up to 6 (from different households) or on your own.

  • Start times will be staggered for families/groups so please be prepared to wait a few minutes before starting.

  • All bookings must be made in advance online and waivers must be signed online in advance.

  • Children under 12 MUST BE accompanied by a paying adult to minimise contact with staff going over obstacles.  The accompanying adult does not have to take part but you must purchase a ticket to be allowed access to the obstacle lanes to help/watch your children.  A minimum of one adult per 5 children is permitted.

  • Areas will be clearly marked for you to wait etc.

  • Families/Groups will be kept at least one obstacle apart (obstacles are spaced well apart) so this will ensure a significant distance is maintained between families/groups at all times.  Please respect this.

  • You must follow the arrows on the course and only go in this direction.

  • You must stay within your family/group and not split up and go around the course separately.

  • Water obstacles have been drained to ankle depth to avoid full submersion in water or will be sealed off (sorry!).  As always please DO NOT drink this water!

  • No changing facilities will be available on site

  • Please bring your own drinking water and take any rubbish home with you.

  • Hand sanitisers will be available but we recommend you wear gloves to go over obstacles for ease of grip.

  • Staff will be on hand but we ask that you try and help each other within your group over the obstacles to ensure minimum contact between staff and participants.  However do not hesitate to shout for help if you need it!

  • Staff will be wearing a face covering.

  • You do not need to wear face coverings etc but you can choose to.  However we ask that these are tied securely to avoid injury.

  • For minor injuries such as cuts/grazes we encourage you to administer First Aid within your family/group under the guidance of our staff, but for more severe injuries staff will be on hand to carry this out (we hope this won't apply!)

  • All usual safety rules will apply which are clearly displayed on site.

  • A Covid-19 Risk Assessment is available upon request.

  • Please do NOT attend if you or anyone within your household shows signs/symptoms of Coronavirus or if you or anyone in your family/group is self-isolating. This also applies if you have been contacted via the Track and Trace system or you have returned from abroad.  We will be pleased to transfer your booking to a later date if this becomes the case at any time before your booking.

PLEASE NOTE THAT GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES CHANGE REGULARLY AND THESE RULES COULD BE UPDATED AFTER YOU HAVE BOOKED BUT BEFORE YOUR ACTUAL BOOKING DATE.  PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US IF YOU REQUIRE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION OR YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS.  YOUR SAFETY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO US AND WE HOPE THAT THESE ADDITIONAL MEASURES WE HAVE PUT IN PLACE WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR ENJOYMENT OF OUR FACILITY.

CHILDREN'S PARTIES

Children's parties are still going ahead under 'sports and children's recreational activities'.  This is different from our Pay & Play sessions and means that you can have up to 30 children attending a party however most parents have kept this to a minimum or within the 'bubbles' that children are in at school.

Both Children & Adults must maintain social distancing at the beginning/end of the party and this can only be discounted by children during the actual party itself.  Where possible we will keep children in smaller groups.

Children's temperatures will be checked at the start of the party and they will be required to use hand sanitiser.

Only staff will be allowed on the lanes to instruct/help children. Parents are not allowed to avoid contact with other children.  Parents must maintain social distancing with other parents/children AT ALL TIMES.

No changing facilities are available on site but there is a toilet which is serviced regularly.

WAIVERS MUST BE SIGNED ONLINE FOR ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING THE PARTY.  WE CANNOT ACCEPT PAPER WAIVERS AT THIS TIME.  If your child has been to the OTG before and has completed an ONLINE waiver before, please let us know and we will check they are on our system.

All other party rules apply (see FAQ's).
