Covid-19 Safety Measures

As the majority of restrictions have now been lifted, life is pretty much back to normal at the OTG.  However, we have kept a few of our  covid-safety measures in place to help our customers feel safe and at ease when visiting us.  As always a full safety briefing will be given at the start of each session, but here are some of the changes you need to know about:

  • Start times will be staggered for families/groups so please be prepared to wait a few minutes before starting.

  • All bookings must be made in advance online and waivers must be signed online in advance.

  • Children under 12 MUST BE accompanied by a paying adult to minimise contact with staff going over obstacles.  The accompanying adult does not have to take part but you must purchase a ticket to be allowed access to the obstacle lanes to help/watch your children.  A minimum of one adult per 5 children is permitted.

  • Areas will be clearly marked for you to wait etc.

  • Families/Groups will be kept at least one obstacle apart (obstacles are spaced well apart) so this will ensure a significant distance is maintained between families/groups at all times.  Please respect this.

  • You must follow the arrows on the course and only go in this direction.

  • You must stay within your family/group and not split up and go around the course separately.

  • Water obstacles are up and running but please DO NOT drink this water and avoid ingesting it where possible.

  • Please bring your own drinking water and take any rubbish home with you.

  • Hand sanitisers will be available but we recommend you wear gloves to go over obstacles for ease of grip.

  • Staff will be on hand but we ask that you try and help each other within your group over the obstacles to ensure minimum contact between staff and participants.  However do not hesitate to shout for help if you need it!

  • For minor injuries such as cuts/grazes we encourage you to administer First Aid within your family/group under the guidance of our staff, but for more severe injuries staff will be on hand to carry this out (we hope this won't apply!)

  • All usual safety rules will apply which are clearly displayed on site.

  • Please do NOT attend if you or anyone within your household shows signs/symptoms of Coronavirus or if you or anyone in your family/group is self-isolating. This also applies if you have been contacted via the Track and Trace system or you have returned from abroad.  We will be pleased to transfer your booking to a later date if this becomes the case at any time before your booking.

PLEASE NOTE THAT GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES CHANGE REGULARLY AND THESE RULES COULD BE UPDATED AFTER YOU HAVE BOOKED BUT BEFORE YOUR ACTUAL BOOKING DATE.  PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US IF YOU REQUIRE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION OR YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS.  YOUR SAFETY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO US AND WE HOPE THAT THESE ADDITIONAL MEASURES WE HAVE PUT IN PLACE WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR ENJOYMENT OF OUR FACILITY.
