The Training Ground is permanently staffed by knowledgeable and friendly staff, most of whom are experts on the OCR circuit and can give you their guidance, knowledge and tips for how to tackle the obstacles head on! If you'd like to join our team, see below!
HARRY HARRISON
OWNER AND LEAD INSTRUCTOR
With a successful bootcamp company under his belt, and over 23 years' experience training military personnel, Harry knows a thing or two about obstacle courses and outdoor adventure. Also the proud owner of OCR race 'One True Grit', Harry wanted to develop this type of activity further: "OCR racing is a great sporting event but it's just for one day. This is for every day! The Obstacle Training Ground is what excites me - this is where outdoor fitness takes on a whole new level. There's no limits to how far you can push yourself or what events you can run here. It's the ultimate fitness playground and it's for everyone - all ages and abilities and especially families. There really is something for everyone.

Justin oozes enthusiasm for obstacle training and was a key figure in the build of this obstacle course. OCR LEGEND and enthusiast, the OTG Team are proud to present Rubin Allen - recently securing 6th place in the Spartan European Championships! Rubin's knowledge and skill of Obstacle Training is second to none - there is no obstacle he can't overcome! Trust Rubin to inspire you, help you to believe, achieve and conquer! PART TIME VACANCIES
WEEKEND WORK/SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Join our team on our Pay & Play sessions and Kids parties which take place every Saturday & Sunday and during school holidays. The role requires you to encourage people on our obstacle course and can include demonstrating our obstacles and generally assisting families and individuals. No experience necessary as full training will be given. A sports background or love of sports is preferable. but personality is key! If you think you have what it takes, contact us here!
VOLUNTEERS/DUKE of EDINBURGH
We are always really keen to hear from students and individuals looking to gain some experience in physical training either for higher/further education, apprenticeships or for the physical aspect of their D of E.

Andy is an instructor here at OTG and is also our Site Manager. You will always find him with a huge smile on his face! Andy has lived all over the world but in 2017 swapped his office job in Asia for an active life back in the UK! While living in Asia he participated in many adventure races such as Action Asia, King of the Hills and was a member of the Hash Harriers. We feel very lucky to have him on our dream team and know that he will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience when you visit us.
